Tiny Hands International is seeking an overseas-based Creative Content Manager to creatively engage people around the globe in Tiny Hands’ story through the creation of creative content.
India is a major destination country for both Nepali and Bengali trafficking victims. While our border & transit monitoring work continues in both Nepal & India, we also have a growing presence in Bangladesh. Current research estimates that even more Bengalis are trafficked into India each year than Nepalis. For this reason, we are expanding our transit monitoring work in Bangladesh to new areas and believe that doing so could be very effective in preventing the trafficking of Bengali women and children to India. To this end, we have been working with a partner in Bangladesh and currently have three transit stations (located in Dhaka, Jessore, and Daulatdia). We currently have a total of nineteen staff spread across those locations and they have had significant success intercepting trafficking victims. We also have three small children's homes. In order to improve and expand this work, we plan to hire a Field Liaison to Bangladesh.
